Located at 383 Warren
Avenue in Portland, Maine, Maplewood Dance and Function Center
offers one of the most comfortable, friendly, and finest places
to dance in all of Maine. Maplewood is a fully air conditioned,
smoke free facility. We feature a 3,200 square foot floating
maple dance floor - the largest unobstructed ballroom dance floor in Maine.

taught at beginner and intermediate levels right here at Maplewood.

Dancing at The Maplewood !
Country dancing has
been temporarily discontinued on Friday nights at Maplewood
due to lackluster attendance. We are currently experiencing
a heightened interest in ballroom dancing due to popular
hit television shows like "Dancing With The Stars and "So
You Think You Can Dance". As such, we now offer ballroom
dancing on every Friday night. While Wednesday nights continue
to be our most popular night for ballroom dancing, Friday
nights offer a much quieter, relaxed environment and much
more floor space to dance on.
In addition to ballroom and country western dancing, other functions are also offered at Maplewood Dance Center. On many Saturdays each month, we host singles dances. We feature both DJ's and bands. Maplewood is also available as a function
hall or banquet facility for wedding receptions, reunions,

Bill Green's Maine @ Maplewood
Bill Green of WCSH6 television was recently at Maplewood Dance
Center doing a segment on ballroom dancing for his Bill Green's
Maine television show. Bill spent quite some time at Maplewood.
He took a dance lesson. He talked with some of our dancers.
He learned a lot about ballroom dancing. This segment of Bill
Green's Maine is scheduled to air on WCSH6 on Saturday November
17th @ 7pm and again on Sunday November 25th @ 11:30am.
